Adv. David Zur is a Founding Partner at Arbus, Kedem, Zur Law Firm and heads two core departments: the Real Estate and Urban Renewal Department, and the Corporate Department (companies, non-profits, businesses, and organizations). Adv. Zur holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and is a member of the Israel Bar Association. Alongside his legal and commercial expertise, he holds specialized professional qualifications, including advanced training in real estate law and planning and construction law from Bar-Ilan University, as well as certification as a mediator from “GOMA – The Israeli Center for Mediation and Coaching,” equipping him with strategic tools for negotiation and effective dispute resolution.
As head of the Real Estate and Urban Renewal Department, Adv. Zur leads the comprehensive handling of complex real estate transactions. Under his leadership, the firm represents developers and companies in dozens of Pinui-Binui (eviction-reconstruction) and NOP 38 (TAMA 38) projects—from initial planning, feasibility analysis, and tenant signature gathering, through representation before planning authorities and drafting bank financing agreements, to apartment handover and registration with the Land Registry (Tabu). He also manages combination transactions, commercial sale agreements, and development agreements with the Israel Land Authority (ILA). In addition, he provides close, personalized, and professional legal counsel to private buyers and sellers in various real estate transactions, including due diligence, contract drafting, and optimal tax planning (land appreciation tax, purchase tax, and betterment levies).
Simultaneously, as head of the Corporate Department, Adv. Zur navigates the strategic guidance, incorporation, and ongoing management of companies, non-profit organizations, businesses, and entities. He handles incorporation procedures and the drafting of articles of association, and drafts founders’ and partnership agreements while establishing decision-making mechanisms, share allocations, and exit strategies to prevent future disputes. His practice also encompasses drafting commercial contracts with suppliers and clients, confidentiality and non-compete agreements, and providing ongoing counsel to non-profits and NGOs before the Registrar of Non-Profits to ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and transparency.
Adv. Zur combines a practical and creative approach across both departments, offering a broad strategic vision, deep commercial and organizational understanding, and meticulous attention to detail. He provides his clients with personal dedication and high availability, grounded in the belief that sound legal counsel serves as a growth engine—enabling clients to confidently focus on business development and achieving their strategic goals.
